Some rides for you

As opposed to the soup nazi's "No soup for you", here are rides that I have completed a few times and thought that it may be helpful to share with others. If I had some soup, you could have that too.

Ride #1. The Cobb and Co loop. Starts in Redcliffe, across to Dayboro, Mount Mee, Toogoolawah, Esk, Toowoomba, Grantham, Gatton, Laidley, Rosewood and then home. Last ridden July 2012.

Ride #2. The back ( and slow ) way to Goombungee. Gets interesting from Kilcoy. Please note that the road from Toogoolawah to Crows Nest is gravel in large sections and so this is not a road for sports bikes. Last ridden 19 August 2012.

Ride #3. The test track. If you need to properly test a bike, start from Redcliffe, up through Kallangur, Petrie, Dayboro, Mount Mee, D'Aguliar, Caboolture and then back to Redcliffe. This takes about 90 minutes and has light city riding, twisties and highway components and should thoroughly test your bike. Just as importantly, its fun. Last ridden August 2012.

Ride #4. Queen Mary Falls Loop. Starting at Grace Lutherand Church, down to Boonah and up and over Queen Mary Falls. Back through Killarney, Warwick, Allora, Gatton and then home.

Ride #5. Hampton, Plainby, Upper Pinelands, Djuan, Crows Nest, Hampton. This ride is a modified version of a 4WD map out out by the Toowoomba Regional Council. I have changed the format so that it can be printed on A4 paper, folded in half and fit in any motorcycle tank bag with a top pocket. I have a few more of these to go.

Ride #6. Hampton, Crows Nest, Albert Street, Three Mile Road, somewhere else, Maria Creek Road, some other place, Crows Nest. I guess you will just have to ride it for yourself to fill in the blanks.

Some other rides. Have a look at the first two links on the "Really important links". These are links to other web pages that have a range of rides posted by others.

Here is a test. First I upload into SCRIBD and then embed the link: Kawasaki Headlight.
