Sunday 15 March 2015. Pleasant Sunday Ride (and Drive)

Sunday after church, a group of us on bikes and in cars took the back roads from Redcliffe to Esk. The highlight of the ride was Neurum Road between Woodford and Kilcoy. I have only been on this road once before, when Mark K took me along there as a reconniture for this event. It really is a great view all along.

At Kilcoy, the main group all caught up at Yowie Park, including Greg and Desley in the Cobra replica that Greg has built himself. Quite a beast. From there to Esk via Somerset and lunch. It was great to see my parents were there waiting for us. After that the return journey was up over Mount Glorious, Samford and then home.

Teammoto Adventure night, Thursday 5 Mar 2015

A bunch of us from Horizons Unlimited attended the Teammoto Adventure night at their Virginia dealership. We had a great time and learnt a little too. The DR800 even won a prize. I think it was for best Adventure Bike up to 800cc, but not sure. Anyhow, I now have $20.00 store credit at Teammoto which I think I will use for a new clutch cable. The bike has almost 95,000 kilometres on it and so if I have all waer and tear items resolved by the time it reaches 99,999 kilomteres, it will tick ovet to 00,000 as a new bike ... well sortoff anyhow.

Here is a picture of some of us. There were are few more from HU that had to leave earlier.
